Nelson in ARIZONA BIENNIAL ’11

Continuing to grow in scope and prestige since it was first organized in 1948, the Arizona Biennial presents a range of works from paintings, sculpture, and crafts to photography and installations.This year’s juror was Anne Ellegood, Senior Curator at UCLA’s Hammer Museum. Sculpture by Tempe based artist John Randall Nelson was selected and will be on view until October 1, 2011. Neslon’s mixed media painting and monumental sculpture can also be seen at Stremmel Gallery from September 8 – October 8, 2011 during his two man exhibition with Nevada sculptor, Bryan Christiansen.
