Stremmel Gallery proudly presents San Francisco Bay Area artist, Robert Brady. Brady’s exhibition of new work continues his line of inquiry into themes of abstraction and figuration led by familiar influences such as architecture and the human form. His penchant for variety and change brings a surprise mix of content and materials, executed with freshness, vitality and skill. Though deeply engaged in abstraction and trying to avoid a linear artistic pursuit, Brady is at the same time able to provide viewers with plenty of representational handholds: faces, tools, and architectural details. His references to artifacts, equipment, pictographs and tribal art resonate strongly.
